A new data center on a 4.3-acre site off Haynes road, west of Clive is being proposed for approval. This facility will have a 19.8-megawatt natural gas-fired power generation capacity and will also be configured to use biofuels. The data center will power modular data processing containers that can be used for processing artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies and other processes requiring high computer power.
