The Falcon Two apartment project in Edmonton is one of five affordable housing developments being undertaken by the city as part of the Downtown Student Housing Incentive, which will provide 550 units for students. This project will have 67 student units out of the 255 total, and they will dedicated for student occupancy for 10 years.
Edmonton will be taking $15 million from its $192 million housing accelerator fund via the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to cover the costs of the five affordable housing units intended to be built by 2027.
