Fortress Mountain Resort is proposing an all-season resort. As part of its master development plan, Fortress proposes a year-round resort with a base-area village, gondolas and lifts, sightseeing, shopping, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, hotels, condos and employee housing.
Phase 1 of Fortress Mountain Resort will build a summer/day-use adventure hub centered on three sightseeing gondolas, plus a via ferrata, mountain coaster, climbing walls, suspension bridges, canyon swing, net park, and mini-golf, alongside 1,100 parking stalls and temporary employee housing, sized for roughly 3,000 daily visitors. Phase 1 represents a $50m-$100m investment. It excludes lift-served downhill skiing (planned for Phase 2).
 
The resort would be built in five phases over about 15 years. Once complete, it could host up to 8,300 visitors each day.
