Phase one of this investment is expected to include four data centre projects with a combined capacity of around 240MW and a development budget of $1.26 billion (€780 million).

This investment reflects growing global demand for secure, reliable digital infrastructure and highlights Alberta’s strengths as a destination for investment in energy-enabled technology projects.

Location on the map is a placeholder and is not precise. Construction on the first facility in Olds will begin in 2026, and the second facility in Bonnyville in 2027. All four data centers will be built out over the next decade.
