The Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge envisions a dedicated space for community-driven research that strengthens Indigenous law and governance. This building would house a leading Indigenous Law Institute for Alberta, the North, and the Prairies, supporting Indigenous communities in revitalizing, developing, and applying their laws. It aims to be a welcoming and safe place where Indigenous individuals feel at home as they work toward their justice and governance goals.
