The project will add fibre or fixed wireless services to 83,643 households in 700+ communities across Alberta. For a full list of communities, please see here.

A total of 27 sub-projects have been approved under the Universal Broadband Fund, representing more than $373 million in combined funding. The federal government will contribute nearly $137 million, the Alberta government will invest $112 million, and participating service providers will provide an additional $124 million.

Service will become available in all regions by December 2026 through March 2027.
