This project entails the replacement of the erstwhile Harbin Gate of Chinatown Edmonton. The Harbin Gate was dismantled to make way for the construction of the Valley Line LRT in 2017.

The new gate will sit on 97th street, between Jasper Avenue and 101A Avenue. Construction began March 9th 2026 and expected to complete next year.
