Costco Wholesale Canada is undertaking a 700,000 square foot expansion of its distribution centre located in Highland Park, on the northern end of Airdrie. The projects will be built in two phases, with approximately 350,000 square feet of space added in each phase.

The first phase began construction in spring 2022 and will be completed in 2023.
