This project entails acquiring a partially completed power plant to convert into a natural gas-powered data centre. The Mihta Askiy Data Centre is located 500 kilometres northwest of Edmonton, and 40 kilometers northeast of Peace River. Mihta Askiy Datacenter LP will oversee the development of a 650 MW facility. The data centre plan is led by Cree Ative Datacenter Corp GP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sovereign Digital Infrastructure, a Canadian based Datacenter/Power System developer focused on partnerships with local First Nations near the projects they are pursuing to develop.
