Widening of Northland Drive (Highway 11A) from west of Taylor drive to Highway 2A/Gaetz Avenue. Project will also include an overpass for a CP rail line. Red Deer will fund $46 million, while Alberta Transportation has committed $15 million and CP Railway has committed $3 million.

The project was cancelled in 2022 due to cost overruns.
