The Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) in Lethbridge is planning a major facility enhancement project aimed at modernizing and expanding its spaces to better serve the community. 
The renovation will add both indoor and outdoor food service areas, improving accessibility and security, and creating a direct connection to Galt Gardens through an integrated outdoor space. 
Plans also include renewing interior gallery spaces, enhancing safety and accessibility, modernizing exhibition areas, and expanding the building to increase capacity for receiving and storing exhibits. A $1 million grant has been provided from the Government of Alberta Community Facility Enhancement Program.
