Structural Truss Systems Ltd. is investing $28.5 million to build a manufacturing plant in Fort Macleod, Alberta. The new 180,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The expansion will result in at least 35 new hires, adding to the combined 220 employees of Structural Truss Systems and Forma Steel. The Government of Alberta's rural stream of the Investment and Growth Fund will provide $996,580 to support the project.
