The project will modernize capital tower, also known as The SunRise Apartments. The project will replace exterior cladding, and add solar panels. Interior work includes 2nd floor change of use for new amenity spaces, replacement of finishes in suites on floors 3 - 12, new rooftop patio decking and privacy screens, replacing of all exterior windows on floors 3 - 12, among others.

Building permits were issued by the City of Edmonton in late 2023.
