The Vantage apartment project in Edmonton is a part of the downtown affordable housing developments. This project will have 92 student units out of the 171 total, intended to be dedicated for the students' occupancy for 10 years.
Edmonton will be taking $15 million from its $192 million housing accelerator fund via the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to cover the costs to ensure five of such projects under the affordable housing units can be built by 2027.
