Construction of a new biofuels facility near the Lethbridge Airport that will produce an estimated 70 million litres of high-value renewable biofuel. The facility will turn local agricultural waste, inedible animal fats, and used cooking oil into biodiesel fuel and glycerin.

A $4.7M funding announcement was made by the Government of Alberta on July 27, 2021.
