The project will look to build a 200 MW gas fired power plant near Pincher Creek, adjacent to the Pieridae Waterton Gas Plant. The facility will supply 170 MW to the power grid, while 30 MW will be used for carbon capture. A final investment decision is expected by 2025 with the first power estimated for 2029.
