The Didsbury Water Reservoir project will see a new underground reservoir built with a capacity of 2,300 cubic metres, along with a pre-engineered pump station, upgraded mechanical and electrical systems, pavement, and environmental protection measures to support the community’s water supply and fire-fighting needs.
The project is being funded through a combination of municipal sources and a $2.5 million grant from the Government of Alberta’s Alberta Municipal Water/Wastewater Partnership, which is part of the province’s ongoing investment in modernizing water infrastructure for small communities.
