Construction of flood berms throughout the Drumheller area, including the Midland, Newcastle, Willow Estates, and Grove Plaza all beginning in 2022, with Downtown flood berms beginning construction in 2023. Additional areas are planning for berm construction in 2023 and 2024.
The Government of Alberta announced $27.3M in additional funding for the project on March 23, 2023.
