The 2023 North Corridor System Expansion Project has been approved through firm delivery contracts of approximately 309 million cubic feet per day. Details include connecting the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to markets within Alberta on the NOVA Gas Transmission Line. There will be 119km of new pipeline constructed and 90 MW of additional compression. The project will help meet market demand in the power generation, oil sands, petrochemical, and utility sectors. The project was approved by TC Energy on February 13, 2020, and approved by the federal government on May 4, 2021.
