A wastewater infrastructure and a major transmission line project will serve Lac Ste. Anne County (LSAC) and several summer villages. LSAC announced the funding from the provincial Water for Life program in mid-June, stating the project is also intended to support watershed protection. The transmission line project is also meant to improve water quality by lessening the impact of effluent discharge in the Sturgeon watershed.
