CN and Congebec are partnering to develop an advanced cold storage facility at CN’s Calgary Logistics Park, enhancing temperature-controlled logistics for domestic and international distribution. The project will integrate cold storage, transloading, cross-docking, and first- and last-mile services directly with CN’s rail network to improve efficiency and reliability of perishable goods movement. Matthews Tribal is the development partner, and the initiative aims to set a new standard for cold chain logistics across Western Canada and into global markets.
